Reviewkit.co.uk is aiming to become the go-to place in the UK for reviews.
We also have a sister site Moneysavinglabs.com which is here to help our users save money.
We review any item that we think you may want to know more about from top tech to the kitchen sink (we haven’t reviewed any as of yet). we will inform you of the best features as well as the pitfalls.
Our Team
We currently only have one member of our team called Dave. As our current team only consists of one person, we have very little overheads which means more money can go back to our users and to the supported charities.
A brief intro
We started out back in 2012 with our first website, Davesinplymouth.co.uk selling items we had bought wholesale and giving 100% to charity. In the first few years, we lost quite a bit of money as any profit went to charity and any losses came out of our pocket.
Next, we tried a review website called reviewkit.co.uk, This was a success informing people about items that we had reviewed and providing links to the chosen items. These items were independent and no payments were received so once again spent quite a lot of money to keep it going.
The last website we owned was anydeals.uk. This was a deal and coupon website which was set up to save people money. This was a huge success and I have carried over experience to Reviewkit.co.uk and also our deal and voucher site moneysavinglabs.com to help save our users even more money.
How does the site work?
The site will never charge any of our users, it’s not what we’re about. We are here to showcase some of the best items available. Companies spend millions of pounds every year trying to get consumers to buy their products, if you buy a product through a link on our site we may earn a commission for sending you to them.
At no point do we accept payments to post any links on our site and the reviews are independent of any commission we may earn. This means we will always offer the best information even if we don’t get anything In return.
Our site is financed via our sister site moneysavinglabs.com and also from a small amount of advertising
Why would we do it if we’re getting nothing in return?
We want normal people to be best informed to make the best decisions. We understand times are hard and money needs to go further than ever before. We do it as we don’t agree with companies earning bumper profits and giving millions to shareholders while people struggle to eat or heat. If an item is rubbish, we will rate it as such.
History and growth
This site started in June 2019, yes we are a newish site however we are aiming to become your one-stop-shop for reviews and info. We have run previous websites and bought all our expertise and experience to this site to make it the best place to be.
The RK/WCE Fund
This was set up to provide funds to smaller charities in the UK where funds are not usually easily available these include guide and scout groups. The fund is separate from any other money being raised and the amount currently available can be found here.
