A lightweight camping chair
This is something I have wanted for the last 10 years or so since working in an outdoor shop, I use to spend hours looking and hoping one day I would be able to afford one of these for £70 or even more.
Today I bring you this ultra-lightweight camping chair from Edeuoey at a much lower price than I’m used to.
The size of this packed up is outstanding and unlike others, it’s very easy to get back into the bag once finished (I always had this problem with tents)
The chair itself weighs in at 950grams and comes with an extra foot and a karabiner clip, so it can be clipped onto a rucksack.
When building it only a few steps are required.
- undo the velcro
- pop the legs in (usually, click up due to the elastic)
- attach the fabric for the chair
- sit and enjoy
Although not the comfiest, it’s not meant to be. After a long walk, it feels like a cloud to sit down on and is easily and quickly unpacked and packed away.
The aluminium used is 7075 aviation quality so will withstand 16 stone. The fabric is 900D oxford fabric with a breathable back mesh. Quality is really not an issue and something I found on other brands is when sitting on they usually spread and start to struggle, However with this one the chair stood its ground and hardly spread at all.
